Bulls Win 11 Straight To Tie Record |
The Durham Bulls have tied their own record by winning 11 straight games in the 2004 season. They formerly set the Triple-A record in August of 1998 with 11 straight wins.
The Bulls brought home their 11th straight win this season on Saturday, July 31, 2004, while on the road against the Charlotte Knights, 5-2.
A no-hitter against the Knights the next day ended the record-tying streak. During the 11-win streak, the Bulls scored 80 runs.
After a day off, the Bulls will continue their winning season tonight, Tuesday, August 3, visiting Indianapolis.
