CBC’ers To Serve on Local AWRT Board |
Capitol Broadcasting Company is well represented on the 2004-2005 Triangle-Radio and Television Professionals (T-RTP) Board of Directors.
Joanne Stanley, FOX50 Program Director, serves as the organizations Vice President while Angie Emerline, Corporate HR Administrator serves as Secretary. Jim Chapin, FOX50 Account Executive, and Lorraine Chapin, WRAL-FM Account Executive, share the Hospitality Chair position.
The four CBC’ers were inducted into their new Board positions on September 15, 2004 during the organizations monthly meeting.
T-RTP is a local chapter of American Women in Radio and Television (AWRT), the longest continuing organization in support of advancing the impact of women in electronic media and related fields.
CBC has been well represented on the local board since the Triangle Chapter was chartered in 1998. Jan Sharp, Corporate VP of HR, Corrine Hampton, FOX50 Programming Assistant, and Pamela Wynn, WRAL-TV Account Executive have all held board positions. Jan Sharp currently serves on the AWRT National Board.
