The WRAL Gardens now have a new and improved Web site.
The WRAL Gardens will soon be in full regalia as the pink, red, white and lavender azaleas bloom. Now the gardens have a new Web site to draw visitors on the Internet as well.
The new WRAL Gardens Web site, located at the original gardens’ Web address of www.wral-gardens.com, includes several new sections including a brief history of the gardens, a photo gallery of the flora in all seasons, and detailed information about the annual WRAL Azalea Celebration. The site also includes FAQs, maps and location information, and more.
The new site includes a photo gallery for each season.
Located adjacent to the WRAL-TV studios and Capitol Broadcasting Company administrative offices in Raleigh, the WRAL Gardens have been undergoing changes of their own in the past several years. The television studios were expanded and a state-of-the-art all-digital newsroom constructed in the late 1990’s. So, the gardens received a face-lift to welcome the architecture of the new building and renovations on the old.
