Charlotte’s WB and Charlotte Knights Team Up for Family Day
|
Charlotte’s WB and the Charlotte Knights baseball club have joined forces to promote “Sunday Is Family Day.” Michigan J. Frog does a “meet-n-greet” every Sunday home game. Charlotte’s WB On-Air Entertainment Personality India Lucas will also be attending on select Sundays to welcome the crowd.

As of the end of May, the Charlotte Knights averaged 3,166 in attendance as compared to 2,579 for the first three Sundays of 2004.
The Charlotte Knights told WWWB’s Dave Bradin and Andre Boyd, “We are pleased with our Sunday figures and expect the numbers to continue to rise throughout the season.”
On Family Day Sundays the Knights offer $1 hot dogs from Carolina Pride and kids get to run the bases after the game.
The Charlotte Knights are the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. The Knights compete in the South bracket of minor league baseball’s International League along with the Durham Bulls.
