George Habel, Vice President of Capitol Sports, received the Arthur C. Clarke Award at the National Association of State Radio Networks (NASRN) in Marco Island, Florida, on Tuesday, June 21, 2005. Thomas Dobrez, the President of Radio Dobrez, presented the award to him.
The Arthur C. Clarke Award is presented each year by the NASRN to an individual who has been important in the development and growth of state radio networks. Habel served as the President of NASRN in 1993.
NCNN Network Manager Rob Hankin was named Secretary of NASRN for the next year at that meeting as well.
