Bulls Home Games Webcast Live For Remainder of 2005 Season |
Fans can watch the Durham Bulls in person at the ballpark and on FOX 50’s digital channel, but now fans around the world have another way to catch their favorite minor league team. The Durham Bulls are now available via video webcast. Beginning with the Wednesday, July 20, 2005, game between the Bulls and the Richmond Braves, the Bulls began video webcasting their home games live on www.durhambulls.com. Fans who can’t make the game can catch all of the action right from their computers.
“It’s a terrific achievement for our multimedia department to get this up and running,” Durham Bulls General Manager Mike Birling said, “we’ll be using the same technology that MLB.TV has used for the past three seasons and no charge to the fans.”
The service is made possible by Baseball Advanced Media (BAM) the multimedia arm of Major League Baseball responsible for content on www.mlb.com. BAM took control of several minor league web sites this year, including the Minor League Baseball site.
