DBAP To Become “Field of Screams”

Field of Screams Now that baseball season is over, ghouls and goblins are taking over the DBAP. On Friday, October 21 & Saturday, October 22, 2005, the Bulls will host the 1st ever Field of Screams Fall Movie Festival.

The concourse will be open for trick-or-treating and fans can also enjoy hay rides, the Durham Jaycees Haunted House (for an additional $5), and compete in a costume contest between movie screenings. Two movies will be shown each night.

Friday, Oct 21st
6pm – Gates open
7pm – Beetle Juice
8:30pm – Costume Contest
9pm – Scream

Saturday, Oct 22nd
5pm – Gates open
7pm – Ghostbuster
8:30pm – Costume Contest
9pm – The Exorcist

All movies will be shown on a large projection screen in the outfield. Attendees may enjoy the movies from the outfield grass or seating bowl.

Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for child/student/senior/military, and kids under 3 are free. Popcorn, drinks and other ballpark favorite will be sold as well.

Gates open at 6pm Friday and 5pm on Saturday.
