Don’t Miss the WRAL-TV Raleigh Christmas Parade This Saturday |
Santa Claus will make his first appearance of the holiday season this Saturday, November 19, 2005. The young and young-at-heart will line the streets in downtown Raleigh for the annual WRAL-TV Raleigh Christmas Parade.

Begins on Hillsborough Street at St. Mary’s Street, proceeds to the State Capitol, turns right onto Salisbury Street, turns left onto Martin St. and continues to Lenoir Street where it disbands. *NOTE: The route will be a little different this year because of the construction on the new convention center. |

The WRAL-TV Raleigh Christmas Parade will be overflowing with fun. Approximately 25 marching bands, about 40 floats and a host of other participants will usher in the holiday season and delight the crowds. The parade is free and fun for the whole family!

WRAL-TV is a major sponsor of the WRAL-TV Raleigh Christmas Parade. For the 32nd time, the event will be produced and aired by WRAL-TV. New this year, the event will also be simulcast on WRAL.com, FOX50 Digital, MIX 101.5 and affiliated radio stations across the state. For the 6th consecutive year, WRAL will produce and present the parade in High Definition — television’s most advanced format. The station will also replay the parade broadcast three times, including a special holiday presentation on WRAL-TV at 6:30am on Christmas Day.
