MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM will begin the 12th annual Radiothon for Duke Children’s Hospital this Valentine’s Day. Bill Jordan & Sheri Logan from “Bill & Sheri In The Morning” will broadcast live from Duke Children’s Hospital each day, 6am to 11pm, filling the airwaves with heartwarming interviews from staff, patients and families. Listeners will be encouraged to call or go online to make a donation for the kids at Duke. The festivities will end Thursday, February 16th with a live grand total announcement at 7pm.

MIX 101.5 will get a head start on the fundraising with a special Radiothon Kick-off Celebration this Sunday, February 12th, with Cornerstone’s Jami Caskey broadcasting live from 10am to 4pm at Duke.
Piggy Bank Day will also be held on Sunday, where kids can stop by the hospital to donate the money from their piggy banks.
The day will end with the Change Bandit Bash at 3:30pm. Change Bandits are people who want to make a difference by volunteering to collect donations from friends, neighbors, relatives and/or co-workers. These Change Bandits will tally and turn in the money they have collected thus far at the special reception with a celebrity guest, Jeff Foxworthy.
