Bulls Announce Most Improved Student Program |
The Bulls are kicking off a program to honor students for hard work. |
The Durham Bulls Most Improved Student Program is designed to recognize students (grades K-8) who have made the most progress in academics and/or social skills during the 2005-2006 school year. Based on their own criteria, teachers have the opportunity to nominate three students from each class they teach as their “Most Improved Student.”
Each student receiving this honor will be recognized on the field at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park on Friday, April 21, 2006. In addition, they will also receive a free ticket voucher for the game, food voucher, have their name printed in a program insert and receive a “Most Improved Student” honoree ribbon. Parents/Guardians of honored students will have the opportunity to purchase tickets in advance for this game.
Teacher nominations should be submitted by March 21, 2006, by using the attached form. Once all nominations are received, the Durham Bulls will provide teachers with the vouchers and ticket order forms for their “Most Improved Student(s).” This program may be used as an incentive in the classroom, and teachers are welcome to recognize their students in class when presenting them with their vouchers.
