WCMC Adds Evening Talent To Line-Up

WCMC, Capitol Broadcasting Company’s new country music radio station, is filling its daily broadcasts with talent. The New 99.9 Genuine Country welcomed its first announcer in late January when Dallas Reese joined the station as afternoon host & music director. Now WCMC has a live voice for the evening hours, as well.
CBC has hired Vince Daniels as Evening Air Talent, weekdays from 7pm – 12am for The New 99.9 Genuine Country. Daniels signed on the air Wednesday, March 1st.
Daniels joins The New 99.9 Genuine Country with over 17 years of radio industry experience. He began his career at WKRC-AM in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he worked as the Morning Show Producer, Weekend Talk Show Host, Afternoon Drive Host and Production Director. Most recently, Vince was the Morning Show Co-Host for country station 96.5 The Star WYGY in Cincinnati, Ohio, and has worked at Young Country Y-96 WYYG and Q102 WKRQ both in Cincinnati.
“Vince comes to us with an extensive background radio and country music,” commented Joe Wade Formicola, Operations Manager/Program Director for The New 99.9 Genuine Country. “We are happy to add him to 99.9 staff.”
Vince Daniels was born in Dayton, Ohio, and has spent most of his life in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended Xavier University where he majored in Theatre Arts.
