The USA Baseball National Team will call the DBAP home for the 4th consecutive summer. |
The Major League Baseball Draft just wrapped-up and once again USA Baseball alumni who have played at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park were at the top of the list. The #1 Overall Pick Luke Hochevar ( Tennessee) wore the red, white and blue at the DBAP during the 2004 season. In all, 7 of the First Round Picks played at the DBAP for USA Baseball.
Now, for the fourth consecutive summer, the USA Baseball National Team will call the DBAP home! The team has seven games on its summer schedule all in the month of July against some of the game’s top international talent.
This year’s team is being selected right now and the team trials include some of the ACC’s top talent including players from both NC State and North Carolina. After the selections are made, the team will be on the Road to the World Championships and we want to see you at the stadium.
