CBC Stations Invite You To PinkFest Transmit This To Rock Amphitheatre Stage for Second Time
|
WRAL-TV and MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM are thinking pink. Both stations are major sponsors of the N.C. Triangle Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure’s first annual event to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. PinkFest will invade Cary’s Koka Booth Amphitheatre on Sunday, Oct 7, 2007 from 1-5pm, complete with musical groups, tasty food, wandering artists and entertainment for the entire family.
CBC’s Transmit This, which includes WRAL-TV’s Debbie “Downright” Strange, will go pink for the 1st-ever PinkFest. |
CBC’s own band Transmit This will rock the house at 1:30pm as part of the historic event that Komen for the Cure hopes will become an annual tradition. So come out, wear pink and help support the fight against breast cancer and celebrate the survivors.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for youth ages 5-15, and $5 for breast cancer survivors. Admission for children ages 4 and under is free.
Join WRAL-TV, MIX 101.5, Transmit This, and Komen for the Cure for a fun fall afternoon.
