The 14th annual MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM Radiothon for Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center is coming. On Tues, Feb 12 – Thurs, Feb 14, 2008, Bill & Sheri will be on-the-air with 3 days of inspiration, heartwarming emotion and excitement.
WRAL-TV made history with their 2007 Radiothon. Last year MIX 101.5 brought the million dollar mark, raising $1,004,591.99 for the kids at Duke. The feat put them a short list of only 16 stations nationwide who have raised $1 million.
Joining the Million Dollar Club put MIX in some lofty company; all of the other stations are from much larger markets. Actually WRAL-FM performs at about 4 times the national average considering the percentage of the total listening audience for each Children’s Miracle Network Radiothon in the U.S.

“It was a thrilling and terrifying experience,” said Gregory of the 2007 Radiothon. “We were so proud to raise this large sum of money and then quickly realized we’d set a new standard.”
But MIX is ready and willing to step up again this year, and they know their listeners will step up as well.
