ATC Bridge Named Joni Madison Avenue
|
McKinney COO Joni Madison poses beside the American Tobacco bridge now named for her. |
The bridge across the waterway at the American Tobacco Campus has been dedicated “Joni Madison Avenue” in honor of McKinney’s COO. Madison learned of the honor at a surprise unveiling of a bronze plaque at the foot of the bridge that now bears her name.
“I made a pledge three years ago, to do this in honor of Joni,” said McKinney Chairman Brad Brinegar. “While many of us had a hand in selecting the ATC site and designing our space, Joni did something truly extraordinary by making it all come to life. And it’s as powerful for us today as it was four years ago.”

“This is all so wonderful,” said a beaming Madison to McKinney employees, her partner Gina Kilpatrick and long-time friend Diane Stevio. “But the real honor is getting to work with all of you every day.”
Spoken like a woman who has a bridge named after her….Congratulations to Madison!
