WJZY Gets Families Feuding at Gastonia Mall

“Survey Says!” WMYT My TV12 held a Family Feud Contestant Search on Saturday and Sunday, August 23rd and 24, 2008, at the Westfield Eastridge Mall in Gastonia, NC. More than 750 family members battled and shouted “Good Answer!!” for a chance to head to LA and compete on Family Feud later this year. WMYT ran promo spots to pre-register viewers to audition, and executed an online contest that gave folks an opportunity to win several audition slots over the course of the weekend.

Producers of the show were very pleased with the response and plan to bring several families to Los Angeles for taping. The mall was thrilled with the crowds on a back-to-school weekend and everyone in attendance had a fun time! Family Feud airs on WMYT My TV12 weeknights at 6pm.
