NOW partners with local television broadcasters, media companies, and major wireless carriers to provide custom mobile applications and services to deliver news, entertainment, and information to mobile phone users. The company currently works with 114 local and national media companies across the country reaching more than 75 percent of U.S. television households. NOW makes this content available through mobile web sites, premium applications and video channels. My Local TV is NOW’s most popular application and is a featured offering with AT&T, Sprint, Nextel, Verizon and Qwest.
NOW’s media partners broaden their reach to an increasingly mobile society and earn multiple revenue streams, including mobile advertising, licensing and subscriptions. Advertising revenue is generated from banners, pre-roll video ads and text ads on mobile web sites hosted by NOW. In addition to enabling local ad sales for its partners, NOW also works with the nation’s premier mobile advertising networks: Third Screen Media, Millennial Media, Nokia and Google. Premium subscription applications are available directly from top carriers. My Local TV is available as a video channel in Sprint TV and Verizon’s V CAST.
