WRAL-TV, FOX 50 & CBC NMG Earn Numerous Noms in Regional Emmy Competition


The Nashville/Midsouth Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) recently announced the nominations for the 24th Annual Midsouth Regional Emmy Awards, and WRAL-TV, FOX 50 and CBC New Media Group received over thirty nods total.

“It’s a long list and well worth the efforts by everyone at both stations,” said WRAL-TV News Production Manager James Ford.

NASCAR champion Darrell Waltrip will host the awards ceremony at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, Tennessee, on Saturday, January 30, 2010.  The entries received represented 61 companies in 68 categories.
