WRAL-TV Reporter Amanda Lamb

WRAL-TV Reporter Amanda Lamb recently sat on the other side of the microphone.   Lamb was a special guest on National Public Radio’s (NPR) “The State of Things” on Monday, November 30, 2009.

She did an hour-long interview at North Carolina Public Radio WUNC, talking to host Frank Stasio about her career in news and writing and to chat about some of the biggest murder cases in the Triangle over the past few years.

In 2008, Lamb published Deadly Dose, a book she wrote about the Eric Miller arsenic-poisoning murder case.  In April of 2010, Lamb’s second true-crime book will be released.  Evil Next Door: The Untold Story of a Killer Undone by DNA is the story of the murder of 23-year-old Stephanie Bennett and how her killer was finally brought to justice.

She also penned Smotherhood:  Wickedly Funny Confessions from the Early Years.
