WRAL-TV Brings Home Eight Regional Emmy Awards |
A winter storm kept all but two WRAL staffers from making it to the 24th annual MidSouth Regional Emmy Awards ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee, on Saturday, January 30, 2010, but the snow didn’t keep WRAL from winning a handful of statues. WRAL-TV, including WRAL.com , won eight Emmys, the second most awards given to one station, and well above the numbers by most.
WRAL-TV Reporter Cullen Browder and WRAL-TV Producer Martha Woodward were on hand to accept the statues on behalf of their colleagues.
Thirty different stations and companies won 74 awards presented in 68 categories.
