Planning Underway for MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM 3rd Annual Lipstick Luncheon Radio Station Presents Another Great Day Out for Women of the Triangle

Enjoy a day out with your girlfriends at the 3rd Annual MIX 101.5 Lipstick Luncheon presented by Crabtree Valley Mall and Rex Healthcare, an exclusive event for Triangle women who want to live their best life at any age, featuring experts in health, beauty and fashion. The event will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Raleigh Marriott City Center in downtown Raleigh from 10am to 2:30 pm. Registration opens at 9am.
Hosts for the day include a variety of MIX talent including Bill Jordan and Lynda Loveland of Bill & Lynda in the Morning, Diane Ramsey, Vanna Fox, Jami Caskey, Wayne Michaels & Jim Kelly.
Admission is just $25 per person and may include panel discussions, a fashion show, a keynote speaker, shopping, lunch, gifts and goodies, and lots more!
Geralyn Lucas will be the Lipstick Luncheon keynote speaker. Lucas is the author of the book “Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy.” A breast cancer survivor. The book about her experiences with cancer later became a Lifetime network movie. Lucas is currently an executive director of public affairs at the Lifetime Television cable network.
A portion of all ticket sales will benefit the Healing Place. The Healing Place of Wake County is a non-profit 501(c)(3) recovery and rehabilitation facility for homeless people with alcohol and drug dependency, located in Raleigh, NC. Their mission is to offer innovative recovery and rehabilitation to homeless alcoholic and chemically dependent men and women through a continuing mutual-help program. The program is specifically designed to rekindle the client’s desire to return to a meaningful and productive life.
