Ten talk show hosts heard on sports radio properties 99.9 FM The Fan and 620 AM The Buzz have been recognized by Talkers magazine as part of the 250 most important talk show radio hosts in America, including local talent Adam Gold.
The February 2010 issue of Talkers magazine ranked the nation’s top hosts based on courage, effort, impact, longevity, ratings, recognition, revenue, service, talent and uniqueness.
Triangle mainstay Adam Gold of the hit local drive-time show, Adam & Joe, which airs daily from 3-7 pm on 99.9 FM The Fan, was recognized for his impressive and entertaining work throughout 2009.
Gold has been in sports radio for more than 10 years and has gained national attention and recognition for his sharp opinions and wide range of sports knowledge.
“It’s always nice to receive industry recognition for the radio programming we have selected to entertain Triangle sports fans,” said Dave Shore, Operations Manager of CBC’s sports radio properties.
“We are especially happy for Adam Gold, who has been an established sports host in this area for more than a decade, and this ranking is a tribute to the creditability he has brought to local radio.”
