ESPN Deportes celebrated the World Cup by holding a World Cup Viewing Party at the WRAL Soccer Park in Raleigh. Along with McDonalds, ESPN Deportes treated the champions of La Liga de Raleigh’s Premiere Division, the Leones Negros (Black Lions) and their families.

The crowd watched Mexico tie South Africa 1-1 in the Opening match of the World Cup. There were activities for the kids including: Wii, Cornhole and Soccer.

While there were no vuvuzelas, there were definitely noise makers with bang sticks. Ronald McDonald was also on site with magic and games for the kids.

After the match, the group was treated with free lunch from McDonalds.

Thanks to 99.9 The Fan’s Brandon Alexander for this capcom story & these capcom photos.
