American Tobacco and FOX 50, along with WUNC-FM and its popular Back Porch Music series, wrap up their 2010 FREE concert series at American Tobacco’s amphitheater this Friday.
The 2010 series concludes with a veritable Who’s Who of blues musician from the Piedmont of North Carolina. Cool John Ferguson, Big Ron Hunter, Captain Luke, Whistlin’ Britches, Bubba Norwood, John Dee Holeman, Boo Hanks, George Higgs and Tad Walters will have you singing the blues, in a good way.
The stage heats up this Friday, October 8th at 6pm.
This year’s schedule marks the first time Back Porch Music has booked all the acts for Music on the Lawn, lending the annual event a sharp focus on authentic, danceable roots music. Also for the first time, Whole Foods Market, presenting sponsor of the music series, will offer a fine selection of natural and organic food during each concert.
So, grab your blanket, friends and family and make sure to mark your calendar for every night of this great series!
