Thursday, March 23, 2011, marks WILM’s 11th Anniversary on the air as a CBS affiliate.
“WILM flipped the switch on at their current location at around 10am in the morning,” said WILM General Manager Connie Knox. “We had not finished building out the station but were able to flip the switch in time for the March Madness Tournament. Almost the entire staff was still working on folding tables for about another month before our furniture and cubicles arrived.”
Knox says she can’t believe it’s been 11 years already. Time flies when you’re having fun.
