It’s O-Fishel. Triangle viewers love WRAL-TV Chief Meteorologist and showed their dedication by once again voting him Best Local Television Personality on Independent Weekly‘s Best of the Triangle list.
The local magazine recently published their 2011 Best of list, and , and Fishel got top billing in the category he’s won since it first appeared in 2006. Several other WRAL personalities made the list as well, two in repeat performances. And 99.9 The Fan moved onto the list for the first time.

American Tobacco Restaurants Make Best of the Triangle Several American Tobacco restaurants fared well in the competition:
Tobacco Road (at Diamond View II) won Best Sports bar, Place to watch televised ACC basketball in Durham County and was a finalist in the Place to watch Monday night football category.
Tyler’s Restaurant & Taproom was a winner in the Draft Beer Selection categories. Tyler’s was a finalist in Best Fries and Best Bar Food.
Saladelia Cafe made an appearance on the list as a finalist in the Vegetarian friendly in Durham County category.
Mellow Mushroom ranked as a finalist in the Best Local Pizza category.
