On Wednesday, August 3, 2011, in Durham, a brush and woods fire threatened the towers at WDNC/620 The Buzz, the flagship station for the Durham Bulls. But as George Habel points out in his latest installment of Note to Self, transmission went uninterrupted thanks to the work of the firemen.
