Beginning Friday, August 19, Triangle Sports Radio fans can tune into 99.9 The Fan and 620 The Buzz for local high school football coverage. Relive the glory days and experience some new ones as Triangle teams take to the field.
Each Friday evening Drew Smith and James Alverson will call the 99.9 The Fan/620 The Buzz High School Game of the Week. Each week’s game will be preceded by a half hour pregame show hosted by Alverson and www.HighSchoolOT.com’s Nick Stevens.
This season 620 The Buzz is providing fans unprecedented high school football coverage. In addition to the Game of the Week, the station will air High School Football Updates each Thursday, Friday and Monday afternoon. Fans can tune in to 620 The Buzz Friday at 11:35pm to hear a live simulcast of WRAL-TV’s award winning football show “Football Friday” with North Carolina High School Athletic Association Hall of Famer Tom Suiter. Finally, Alverson will recap all of the Friday night action on Saturdays from 9-10am on 620 The Buzz with “High School OT Final.”
