MIX 101.5 Annual Radiothon at Duke Children’s Hospital Starts Tomorrow

MIX 101.5’s 18th Annual Radiothon for Duke Children’s Hospital starts Tuesday, February 14th and will run through Wednesday, February 15th. MIX morning show co-hosts, Bill Jordan and Lynda Loveland, will kick off the annual fund raising event live from lobby of Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center.

Listeners can pledge online at wralfm.com or by phone – toll free at 1-866-684-1015 or locally at (919) 684-1015. Volunteers are answering phones and taking pledges from 6am until 6pm each day. Checks, credit cards and electronic funds transfers are accepted.

WRAL-FM’s youngest listeners can also donate in a different way by participating in Piggy Bank Day on Wednesday, February 15th. Children can come to the lobby of Duke Children’s Hospital and dump their piggy banks into the coin machine.

The MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM Radiothon is Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center’s largest single fundraising event each year. This signature event raises funds to benefit children’s programs and further support the continuation of excellence within the medical and surgical programs housed at Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center. These funds also provide patient support materials such as toys for the playroom and parent education materials.

A check in the amount of total funds raised will be presented live in the 6PM hour on Wednesday, February 15th.
