The LoMo Market is a farmer’s market on wheels. |
The inaugural visit of the LoMo Market to American Tobacco meant fresh produce and baked goods delivered right to the workplace. LoMo made its first stop at ATC on Thursday, July 12, 2012.
Local farms loaded the truck with a bevy of items, and the LoMo truck hauled the bushels to downtown Durham, bringing people and fresh food together.
“The market arrived to RAVE reviews from ATC tenants!” said ATC PR/Events Manager Valerie Ward.
The “bookmobile with food instead of books” made it’s first stop at American Tobacco on Thursday, July 25th from 3-5pm. The truck will come by every Thursday at the same time and location (at the DPAC end of Broadway and Vivian Street).
Stop by next Thursday to get all the fixin’s for healthy, locally grown food for your dinner.
