Metro Magazine announced the winners of the 2012 Metro Bravo Awards in their July issue, and several CBC personalities and entities won top honors. This year marked the 13th appearance of the awards. And the CBC winners are:

Several entities near or part of American Tobacco and the Diamond View campus complex in Durham also received recognition on the list. The Durham Performing Arts Center won a Standing Ovation for Best Theatre Building, Tobacco Road won a MetroBravo for Best Sports Bar, and the Mellow Mushroom, Triangle-wide (with one location at American Tobacco), won an Honorable Mention for Best Outdoor Seating.
