On Monday, January 28, 2013, Capitol Broadcasting Company, Inc. announced that it has agreed to the sale of its two television stations in the Charlotte, North Carolina television market to Fox Television Stations, Inc. The two stations are WJZY and WMYT.
WJZY is a CW affiliated station located in Belmont, North Carolina. It broadcasts a high definition digital signal on virtual channel 46 from a transmitter and tower located in Dallas, North Carolina.
WMYT is the My Network affiliated station located in Rock Hill, South Carolina. WMYT broadcasts a high definition signal on virtual channel 55 from a transmitter and tower co-located with WJZY in Dallas, North Carolina.
The sale is subject to FCC approval.

WJZY signed on March 9, 1987 as an independent station. It was acquired by Capitol on November 23, 1987. WMYT signed on October 21, 1994 as an independent station. It was acquired by Capitol on March 28, 2000.
