A record-breaking two million votes have been tallied, and the grand prize winner of FOX 50’s 2013 Lip Dub Project is…Jack Britt High School! The Fayetteville School wins $10,000 for their school, the announcement came on WRAL-TV’s 10 O’Clock News on FOX 50 on Thursday, April 18, 2013.
Two other schools took home prizes, as announced on the two previous nights of the newscast. Smithfield-Selma High School earned 1st runner up, receiving $5,000, and Pine Forest High School in Fayetteville took 2nd runner up and the $2,500 prize.
Congratulations to the over 40 schools who entered for a chance to win. Check out all the Lip Dub videos to appreciate the creativity and initiative from ALL of the submitting schools.
