A MIX 101.5 personality is now a 4-H honoree.   WRAL-FM Morning Show Co-Host Lynda Loveland received the North Carolina 4-H Lifetime Achievement Award during the NC 4-H Congress on Monday, June 24, 2013.

Loveland received the honor at a reception at NC State University’s McKimmon Center in Raleigh.  She received the award because was an outstanding Missouri 4-H Alumna, served on the NC 4-H Development Fund Board and continues to be a great 4-H Ambassador.

Another CBC staffer had a connection to the NC 4-H Congress.  WRAL-TV Anchor/Reporter Debra Morgan attended the Congress on Saturday, June 22, to present awards in the Cecil and Leonard Category that CBC & WRAL sponsor.  Long-time WRAL Farm Reporter and CBC legend the late Ray Wilkinson was widely known for his Cecil and Leonard jokes, and the award is named in his memory.

Check out the capcom story about the 1st place winner of the Cecil and Leonard award, who will perform on the WRAL Noon News on Tuesday, July 30th.

Thanks to WRAL-FM’s Vanna Fox for this capcom scoop & for these capcom photos.
