Two big, fun events are right around the corner. The FOX 50 Family Fest and the Great American Tobacco Duck Race are coming on the first weekend of October. Several years ago the two events joined forces to become one big day of family fun. And now they’re upping the ante to expand the family-friendly fare into two days and two great locations!
The 5th Annual FOX 50 Family Fest kicks off on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at Pullen Park in Raleigh from 10am until 3pm. The fun continues on Sunday, October 6, at the American Tobacco Campus in Durham from 12pm until 3pm. The 7th Annual Great American Tobacco Duck Race will be part of the Sunday excitement.

The Great American Tobacco Duck Race supports three different deserving non-profits this year:
Individuals and companies can purchase ducks to compete and celebrate these great organizations. All kinds of prizes will be awarded by our celebrity judges, including WRAL-TV’s Brain Game Host Mark Roberts.
“This is an event that can be enjoyed by all ages,” said ATC Administrative Assistant Natalie Clay. “It is exciting to see the fun that everyone is having, and the creativity and uniqueness of the ducks that are entered for The Duck Race.”
