Veteran sports-talk broadcaster Dennis Glasgow will join the CBC sports team on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, as Program Director/Operations Manager of 99.9 The Fan WCMC-FM, 620 The Buzz WDNC-AM, 1550 ESPN Deportes WCLY-AM and 99.9 HD-3 The Ticket.
Glasgow has over twenty-five years of sports and new media programming experience. He has worked in large markets including Portland, Oregon, Washington, D.C., Denver, CO and Albuquerque, NM. In addition to programming sports radio stations, Glasgow has hosted sports shows, called play-by-play and managed social media and radio station websites.
“Having the opportunity to work for Capitol Broadcasting and their sports properties is a genuine thrill,” says Glasgow. “I look forward to continuing the commitment of great sports radio in the Triangle region.”
