MIX 2015 Miracle Home
The 2015 Miracle Home, built by Garman Homes, won Gold at the 31st Annual Parade of Homes in October 2014.

MIX 101.5’s 2015 Miracle Home is now complete and recently made a splash on the recent Parade of Homes in the Triangle.  The 31st Annual Parade of Homes, presented by the Home Builders Association of Durham, Orange & Chatham Counties (HBADOC) won the Gold, first place award, in its price category ($469,000-$482,000).

Constructed by Garman Homes, the 2015 Miracle Home is now on the market.  The sale of the home will benefit Duke Children’s Hospital and Health Center as part of MIX 101.5’s annual Radiothon.

Designer Allison King and Garman Homes Division VP Alaina Money holding the GOLD sign (this project was their baby!) at the awards ceremony on Tuesday, October 7th.

“The last 3 years we have had AMAZING Miracle Homes, all with a woman at the helm!” said WRAL-FM Asst Morning Show Producer Vanna Fox.  “These 3 builders, Homes By Dickerson, Terramor Homes and Garman Homes, have raised more than a half million dollars for Duke Children’s Hospital. Garman Homes had a beautiful approach this year. Every decision they made regarding the home was made with a family with a sick child in mind. I don’t want to spoil the surprise….but this home has a secret room. A room for a family to get away and just be together. It totally melted my heart!”

The 2015 Miracle Home is on the market for $470,000. The home is located at 28 Harlow Bend in the Briar Chapel community in Chapel Hill.  The particular floorplan is called ‘The Game Changer’.

“The beautiful people at Garman Homes and Go Realty! remind me again, that the world is full of good people,” said Fox.  “I am a better person for having worked on this project with them this year.”
