The WRAL-TV Creative Services team went five for five in the 2016 PromaxBDA Local Awards, winning four Gold and one Bronze award among the five for which the station was nominated. FOX 50 also brought home a Bronze award in the prestigious national competition.
The honors were presented during the 6th Annual PromaxBDA Station Summit conference held in Las Vegas at The Mirage Hotel and Casino from June 21-24.
WRAL-TV Creative Director Shelly Leslie attended the convention. WRAL-TV Promotion Manager Jay Yovanovich represented WRAL at the ceremony.
“I am so unbelievably proud of this team,” said Leslie. “They unselfishly support each other. They keep raising the bar for each other. It’s just awesome to lead this group.”
FOX 50 Creative Services Director Kevin Kolbe attended as well. “So blessed to work and create with such an amazing team!” he posted on social media after the presentation.

We congratulate all of the winners of the 2016 PromaxBDA Awards at Station Summit.”
