Successful Saturday of Rocky Mount Mills 5K Race Includes Concert and Food Truck Rodeo

The sun shone bright while hundreds of people gathered at Rocky Mount Mills for the Rocky Mount Mills 5K Race, Concert, and Food Truck Rodeo on Saturday, June 3, 2017. Runners of all ages competed together as they made their way along the race course including: The Mills, Tar River Trail, Sunset Ave, River Drive and finishing up through the Mill Village.

“It was a morning filled with fun for the entire family as people ran, cheered and/or danced to Matty Begs on the front lawn,” said RMM Events and Marketing Manager Julie Baggett. “In two years, the race has raised close to $30,000 for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.”

Some of Rocky Mount Mills team ran and enjoyed the event festivities on campus. RMM’s team of staffers included: Evan Covington Chavez, Julie Baggett, Matt Honeycutt and Scott Roberts.
