MIX 101.5 is pulling out all the stops for the holidays. The radio staffers are busier than Santa’s elves with multiple events to support our community, including the upcoming Radiothon. We checked in with WRAL-FM Promotions Director Jason Newton and he gave us the latest on what the MIX crew is up to:
3,000 Toys for Girls and Boys was a huge success! It was a team effort with everyone pulling together to make the goal happen but the stars of the show really knocked it out of the park. Kudos goes to Two Men and a Mom, Kyle, Bryan and Sarah, for going above and beyond. Kyle and Sarah stayed on-air past their normal shifts till 6pm each day and Bryan once again braving his fears and elements by staying up in the air on a 40ft scissor lift. He wouldn’t come down till the goal was reached! MIX listeners reacted and helped achieve the goal which means lots of happy children in the Triangle, plus a safe and sound Bryan Lord back on the ground.
