Panthers, Bulls Team Up For Football Night at DBAP

Carolina Panthers to Visit Durham as Part of Team’s Two States. One Team. Tour

Durham Bulls Carolina PanthersThe Durham Bulls will partner with the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, August 12 for Football Night in partnership with the Panthers Two States. One Team. Tour. Sunday’s game is also being presented by Amica.

Among the highlights of Football Night are a Panthers t-shirt giveaway to the first 1,500 fans in attendance, appearances by Sir Purr, the TopCats, PurrCussion, and the Black & Blue Crew. Additionally Panthers alumni Nate Salley and Kemp Rasmussen will be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs, and there will be various football and Panthers-themed between inning entertainment elements. The team’s Play60 drills will also take place on the Diamond View lawn on Blackwell St. from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

“We’re very much looking forward to teaming up with the Panthers for Football Night on Sunday,” Durham Bulls Vice President Mike Birling said. “We’re thrilled they decided to pick Durham and the DBAP as one of the stops on their tour, and we know our fans will love the partnership between the teams.”

First pitch is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. on Sunday, with gates opening at 4 p.m. The contest closes the Bulls’ three-game series against the New York Yankees’ Triple-A affiliate, the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.
