The 5th annual WRAL.com Voters’ Choice Awards, presented by Millennium Buildings, are finally here.
The nomination period for the awards begins Monday, Sept. 16, 2019. Now’s your chance to help your favorite people, places and businesses get the recognition they deserve.
The WRAL.com Voters’ Choice Awards celebrate the best North Carolina has to offer, and each year we receive nominations from the mountains to the coast. This year’s no different – we’re counting on you to give us the inside scoop on all the best of local.
You can submit one nomination per category per day. If you want to give your favorite businesses their best chance of winning, tag them on social media and share the ballot with your friends and family using #WRALVCAs. We may share some of your best posts.
Nominations help determine the five finalists in each category, which will go on to the voting phase.

Use Voters’ Choice Awards as your go-to guide all year
You can use the Voters’ Choice Awards as a resource throughout the year. Winners, honorable mentions and finalists remain listed on the ballot page under their categories after the winners are announced. Bookmark the ballot now, and use it as a guide for everything local.
In Out & About, we also use your five finalists for each category to build out and update the Five Faves, the top five restaurants, venues and events to help you decide what to do on a night out or a free weekend.
Whether you want the best biscuits in the Triangle area or the best charity events you can attend with your family, we have you covered.
You’ll also be able to see winners highlighted monthly on Out & About TV and hear from them on the Out & About podcast.
