Kate Rhudy & Anita Normanly
What a perk, walking into work: Corp’s Anita Normanly (right) got a pic with singer/songwriter Kate Rhudy, who stopped by WRAL to play on the morning news on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.

Working in the office definitely has some unexpected and unique perks at Capitol Broadcasting.  Corp TV Production Manager Anita Normanly happened to arrive for the day in time to meet one of her favorite local musicians, Kate Rhudy!  Rhudy was in the WRAL Gardens to perform live on the WRAL Morning News on FOX 50 and chat with WRAL-TV Anchor Ken Smith on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.

“She’s one of the people I’m most looking forward to at That Music Fest!” said Normanly.

Rhudy will perform live for Capitol Broadcasting again in a few weeks at That Music Fest at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.  That Station and Come Hear NC are collaborating on the two-day music festival celebrating the artists who make music right here in North Carolina on Friday June 24th and Saturday June 25th. Find details and purchase tickets here.

Thanks to Corp’s Anita Normanly and That Station’s Chris Edge for these Capcom photos.
