CBC/WRAL Night at PBS NC for 21st Time on February 28

Capitol Broadcasting and WRAL-TV are once again supporting our broadcasting neighbors at PBS North Carolina for the station’s annual spring fundraiser. CBC donated $10,000, which will be presented by WRAL-TV Anchor/Reporter Lena Tillett during the evening programming on CBC/WRAL Night at PBS NC on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. This marks CBC/WRAL’s 21^st year as a PBS NC Corporate Partner.

“With the shared goal of providing trusted news and information to our North Carolina communities, Capitol Broadcasting Company is proud to be a corporate partner with PBS North Carolina,” said Tillett in recorded comments that will be shared during PBS NC’s programming on CBC/WRAL Night.

The primetime programming highlight of the evening will be “Black Broadway: A Proud History, A Limitless Future,” a concert celebrating the rich history of Black roles and voices on Broadway with an all-star cast. The program begins at 8pm.

A wide array of shows fill out the afternoon and evening from 2pm to midnight, like “Ireland with Michael” and “This Old House,” ending with “Amanpour and Company” at 11pm. Find the full schedule for the afternoon and evening HERE.

“While our programming may be slightly different, both Capitol Broadcasting and PBS are committed to telling the stories that help to shape and develop the old North State,” continued Tillett.
