Bulls Win Herald-Sun Readers Choice Award

The Herald-Sun today announced the results of the 2007 Reader’s Choice Awards and America’s Favorite Minor League Team took home two of the honors. The Durham Bulls were named the Best Place for Family Fun while the Durham Bulls Athletic Park was recognized as the Best Outdoor Venue.
“To be recognized as the Best Outdoor Venue and the Best Place for Family Fun by the Herald-Sun readers is a real honor,” Durham Bulls General Manager Mike Birling said, “My staff and I are grateful for this recognition and look forward to continuing to provide the best entertainment in the Triangle.”
The Reader’s Choice Awards are determined annually by the readers of the Herald-Sun and The Chapel Hill Herald via the U.S. Postal Service and www.herald-sun.com. Thousands of votes (doubling last year’s count) were cast in more than 100 seperate categories.
