Christian Recording Artists “NewSong” To Play At Coastal Federal Field

National Christian recording artists NewSong will travel to Myrtle Beach to take the stage at Coastal Federal Field, the home of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans (Class-A, Atlanta Braves). NewSong is scheduled to perform a concert at Coastal Federal Field on Sunday, September 4, 2005.
The concert, dubbed as part of the “Fellowship Festival,” is being presented by the Myrtle Beach Pelicans Baseball Club. Tickets are currently on sale to the general public. Fans can purchase tickets exclusively at the Myrtle Beach Pelicans box office located at Coastal Federal Field. Tickets may also be ordered online or by calling (843) 918-6000. Cost for festival tickets, which include the Myrtle Beach Pelicans vs. Kinston Indians game and postgame concert featuring NewSong, are set at $7.50 for Field Box seats, $7.00 for Reserved Box seats, and $6.50 for Reserved Bleacher seats. Group rates for 25 or more are also available.
Newsong started out in 1981 as a 9 member church band for Morningside Baptist Church in Valdosta, GA. Since their inception in 1981, they have had 17 #1 singles, six Dove Award nominations, numerous songwriting awards, and five of the Top 100 Christian radio singles of the past decade. They are known for their songs, “Red Letter Day”, “Arise, My Love,” “Miracles,” “Jesus To The World (Roaring Lambs), and “The Christmas Shoes,” which was also the title of their first Christmas Album.
