CBC’ers Serve on Leadership Triangle Board
Leadership Triangle recently announced their Board members for 2004, and several CBC’ers are among their ranks. American Tobacco Project General Manager Peter Anlyan, FOX50 Operations Supervisor Chris Downey and CBC VP of Community Relations Paul Pope will all participate in guiding the leadership organization. CBC President & CEO Jim Goodmon is the Director Emeritus.
The fifteen-member board includes members from a variety of backgrounds and organizations across the Triangle. Former AJFF Executive Director Tom McGuire remains on the board as chair after leading it last year. He now heads The Philanthropic Advisory Group in Raleigh.
Anlyan served as a professional coach during the “Will You Lead? II” program in the fall of 2003, and Downey participated in that Leadership Triangle class as a student. Pope graduated from the “Will You Lead? I” program in the spring of 2003 and has been on the board for several years.
Goodmon, CBC, and the AJ Fletcher Foundation have been ardent advocates and major financial sponsors of Leadership Triangle since the group re-vamped in 2002 and Winkie La Force took over as Executive Director.
