Bulls Mascot Celebrates Birthday |
Mascot Wool E. Bull celebrated his birthday on Sunday, July 8th, as the Bulls took on the Charlotte Knights. The Bulls, along with MIX 101.5, gave away a free ticket to the game for everyone who brought a toy for Wool E. Bull’s birthday. Over 100 toys were collected; they were donated to the Boys and Girls Home of North Carolina.

Bulls Director of Media Relations/Promotions Matt DeMargel said, “Overall, the day was a big success. A number of local mascots, including Stormy from the Carolina Hurricanes and Bravey Bear from the Durham Braves, were in attendance to celebrate. The Bulls also provided birthday cake for children ages 12 and under who |
were in attendance. 7,120 fans were in attendance at the party.”
On the field, the Bulls won the game 10-5 with three home runs and a bases-clearing triple. And that was accomplished without the help of Bulls’ All-Star Toby Hall, who celebrated Wool E.’s birthday by winning the MVP in the Major League Baseball Future’s Game in Seattle. Hall went 2-for-3 with a home run to lead the USA team over the World Team 5-1.
