$1 Concessions, Greek Heritage Night, Two Fireworks Shows Also on Promotional Schedule
The Durham Bulls begin a six-game homestand against the Toledo Mud Hens and Syracuse Chiefs on Tuesday, July 24. The team’s inaugural Startup Night, Bark in the Park, Greek Heritage Night and $1 Concessions highlight the promotional schedule.
The Bulls welcome the Toledo Mud Hens to the DBAP for a three-game series beginning on Tuesday, July 24 at 7:05 p.m. That evening’s contest is the DBAP’s first Triangle Startup Night presented by Big Top, as members of the startup community can connect with others in the industry. Additionally, Tuesday’s game is $2 Taco Tuesday, as tacos are just $2 at select concession stands throughout the evening.
On Wednesday, July 25 the DBAP hosts its penultimate Bark in the Park of 2018, presented by 4Paws Insurance. That night fans can bring their pup to the ballpark, with human tickets costing $7.99 plus tax, and canine tickets costing $5 plus tax, with all proceeds benefiting Second Chance Pet Adoptions. Prior to the 7:05 p.m. contest, presented by John Deere, fans are encouraged to bring their furry friend on the field for a pregame dog parade, which will begin at 4:20 p.m.
The series against the Detroit Tigers’ top affiliate closes at 7:05 p.m. on Thursday, July 26 with $1 Concessions, as Bright Leaf hot dogs, Pepsi products and popcorn are just a buck all game long. Additionally, Thursday’s game is Small Business Night.
The homestand continues on Friday, July 27 at 7:05 p.m., with the first game of a three-game series against the Syracuse Chiefs, presented by Hilton Durham. Friday’s game is another Food Truck Friday, as local food truck Mama Voula’s will be serving their delicacies on the Diamond View concourse throughout the game. Following the contest is a Friday Night Fireworks show presented by bioMerieux.
On Saturday, July 28 the Bulls and Washington Nationals’ Triple-A affiliate square off at 6:35 p.m., with the evening’s game presented by GoGo SqueeZ. The DBAP will celebrate Greek Heritage Night with special dance performances and food items throughout the evening. Saturday’s game is also Camp Out Night, with the Bulls recognizing local scout troops in a pregame parade, and after the contest will be a fireworks show presented by JT’s Landscaping.
The homestand closes on Sunday, July 29 at 5:05 p.m. against the Chiefs with Small Business Night. After the game children can show off their speed on the DBAP infield with Kids Run the Bases presented by Nature’s Twist.
