Red Sox Visit the DBAP for Four Game Weekend Series First Place Bulls Kick Off Home Stretch of Season Against Popular Boston Affiliate |
The first place Durham Bulls resume play after the Triple-A All-Star break on Thursday, July 18, 2013, beginning a four game series against the Pawtucket Red Sox at the DBAP. Friday Night Fireworks and Autism Awareness Night highlight the promotional event schedule.
The Pawtucket Red Sox, Triple-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, begin their only Durham visit of the year on Thursday, July 18. The 7:05pm game is presented by the Governor’s Highway Safety Program and their “Booze It and Lose It” campaign, and features $1 concession items including $1 Bright Leaf hot dogs, popcorn and fries. Thursday is also College Night, where students can get a Terrace Reserved ticket and $5 in Bulls Bucks for just $10 or an Outfield Reserved ticket for only $4.99 by entering the promo code COLLEGE (and using a valid .edu email address) when purchasing tickets online at durhambulls.com.
Also on Thursday, the Bulls will team up with the legendary Merge Records, as the Durham-based independent record label curates the walk-up music for the team throughout the game. A playlist of the Merge artist walk-up songs will be available at durhambulls.com.
On Friday, July 19, Triangle Orthopaedic Associates presents the 7:05pm game and the Friday Night Fireworks show which will immediately follow game two of the Bulls and PawSox’ series. The Bulls’ world famous dancing grounds crew, The Diamond Cutters, will perform during the game.
’47 Brand presents the Bulls’ annual Autism Awareness Night on Saturday, July 20. Special tickets are available for the 7:05pm game, with $3 of each Autism Awareness Terrace Reserved ticket going to the Autism Society of North Carolina. The Ballpark Corner Store will also donate a portion of proceeds from the sale of ’47 Brand merchandise to ASNC.
Sunday’s 5:05pm series finale with the PawSox is presented by CPI Security. As always, Kids Run the Bases after Sunday games, thanks to Pepsi.
